The most common side-effects of Tramadol are sweating, nausea, vomiting, and constipation.
Tramadol may also decrease the threshold for seizures, especially when taken with SSRI’s, tricyclic antidepressants, or in patients with epilepsy. In normal doses, Tramadol does not create significant respiratory depression, but an overdose can lead to respiratory failure.
Be sure to discuss any side-effects with your doctor.
Tramadol can also be habit-forming. It is important to consult your doctor before you stop taking the medication to avoid withdrawal symptoms. Patients who stop taking Tramadol too quickly report uncontrollable nervous tremors or insomnia.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist for more complete information.
